legacy in taipei is one of the biggest venues for an indie band to play at, how we got to play there still confuses me! anyway, we played alongside some pretty big acts and the experience was amazing. thanks to adam chen and vicious circle for everything! i don’t have many pictures from our actual show, but i do have some from our pre-show activities.

in other news, we’re finally done recording our record! it’s currently being mixed and mastered, and hopefully it’ll be done in the next month or so!

sorry for the lack of updates lately. we’ve been in the studio for the last few weeks recording our first official EP, or “first mini album” if you’re in korea, haha. originally we wanted to take some time off of performing to record the EP, but The Wall had called us to play last week, which was really cool. never thought they would ever call us! anyway, here are some pictures that wes snapped:

i’m sure i’m not the first to say that i definitely prefer performing rather than studio recording. it’s almost like, no matter how many times you play the same song over and over again, you can almost never do it perfectly in the studio. we finished recording bass tracks last night which was really cool. we now have guitar, drums and bass tracks completed. next on the list is synth, then vocals. after all that is done, it goes to mastering where it’ll take quite some time to mix. hopefully the EP will be done by, let’s say, late june?

hrm, well that’s about it. getting kind of homesick these days. sometimes i wish the states was as close as hong kong is to here. if that were the case, i’d go home like, once a month. i really miss the food back at home, but more importantly, i miss all my best friends. annie and i plan to be back in august, for about a month! so that’ll be awesome, except i’ll be totally broke the whole time, haha. kbye!

irwin came to taipei for a little while after going to a wedding and hk and before going to japan. sucks he was only here for a few days but i think we still had fun ^^ here are some pics told through his amazing 14mm lens and multi-thousand dollar camera!
