RIP colby koenig.
it’s really unfortunate that i have to write an entry after your passing when i should have written it when you were among us. we were pretty close in middle school and high school but kind of lost touch after we all graduated. it’s no one’s fault, really, we just had different paths in life and it’s something that not even the best of friends can really help. we did see each other every so often in our college years and even though i have forgotten exactly how we came to be in the same room, i know for sure that they were good times. you were always one of those dudes that no matter how long we didn’t see each other, it was like nothing had ever changed. we would laugh about the same inside jokes over and over again, talk about cars, girls…you know, the usual. i wish i had better pictures of the both of us but they’re so old that i’d have to dig through my parents photo albums of past birthday parties and gatherings. seeing as how i’m nowhere near my home, i’ll only post these 2 pictures of us. for those who didn’t know colby, he is pictured on the right.

colby, you were always a guy i could count on and trust, and these days, those kinds of people are hard to come by. i’ll always remember when we went to see Live in concert and you got super excited over HOUSE OF PIES. well, i’m sure you are now in biggest house of pies, and enjoying the view while you’re at it. rest in peace, my friend.

RIP Colby

Of course. It was the least I could do to pay my respects to someone I had shared a lot of my younger memories with. My thoughts are with your family. RIP Colby.
